KINETO Mobile Device SOLUTIONs
To support the broad availability of UMA-based mobile devices, Kineto has developed a number of software products and support services for vendors of mobile device, chipset and software stack. These solutions are designed to significantly decrease the time-to-market of UMA-compliant products.
UMA Handset Client
Developed for vendors of cellular chipsets and mobile devices, the UMA Handset Client is the software that adds UMA functionality to Wi-Fi™ or Bluetooth™-enabled mobile devices. Small in profile and designed for portability, the UMA Handset Client integrates with existing stack components for cellular, IP and Wi-Fi™ or Bluetooth™, and has minimal platform requirements. The UMA Handset Client has already been proven in several successful integration projects and carrier trials.
UMA Network Simulator
To support rapid development of UMA-compliant mobile devices and technology components, Kineto Wireless has developed the UMA Network Simulator. The UMA Network Simulator is a Windows™ application that is fully compliant with the UMA specifications and terminates the UMA interface from a mobile device. The UMA Network Simulator is capable of simulating all core network packet and circuit services and includes a set of standard UMA test cases, with the ability to add custom test cases.
UMA Integration Services
To accelerate the development of UMA-compliant mobile devices, Kineto has expert resources available to partners to support the integration of the UMA Handset Client. In addition, Kineto can supply expert resources and facilities to support end-to-end testing of UMA-compatible devices in a live GSM/UMA network.
